staff are vey hard working - especially cleaners. facilitities are great including co work space, skate bowl and bar. the dorms are a lottery though, varying in quality. the fan room with curtains is great . i did find a cockroach in my bed . staff do need to be more active with poorly behaving guests though.

this is still quite far from the airport at 30 mins away. the place is outdated and really is only somwhere to rest your head for a night or two. no atmosphere or area to hang out. staff are very helpful though

Modern hostel with good facilities. Cleaners work very hard. Attitude of staff let this place down - unhelpful reception staff. I lost my money and reception wouldn't look after my bag without demanding 5 euro . Other time asked advice for good beaches and the girl was rude . Coffee and breakfast should be provided for the price . Overall this is a nice place but lacking some atmosphere

The hostel overall is very well equipped with really helpful and knowledgeable upbeat staff . The included breakfast is amazing with plenty of vegan options . Kitchen facilities are the best . Unfortunately dorms really let the hostel down and the price is extortionate . The 12 bed dorm was extremely basic and impossible to have a good night's sleep due to the flimsy connected metal bunk beds. The lockers are metal cages under the bed which disturb everyone in the room at all times.

this hostel is very well thought out and the interior decor and design of all the spaces is very spot on. i got a perfect nights rest in a dorm. love the attention to detail in the design of the spaces ; little shoe pods, comfy mattresses, ample storage space. the staff are very lovely too . great location

This is the absolute best spot to stayintown. All of the staff work tirelessly in ensuring that everyone has the best possible experience ; the cleanliness, atmosphere & parties are all top notch. The owner does a great job in making sure everyones happy ; the book worms have their quiet little nooks to chill, the hedonists will have the nights of their lives, the surfers will fly through the Indian ocean with the biggest smiles, & everyone else will remember this place for eternity ! Hostel manager extremely unhelpful with refunding money despite a weeks notice. Hostel wasn't always clean. Small kitchen. Lots of long termers so no atmosphere. But building is pretty and good cool location for exploring artsy Fitzroy

There was an incident with an aggressive girl in the room who brought a drunk man home . Staff were not helpful and accused me of lying. Overall uns*fe and would not recommend to stay. Staff are extremely unhelpful and rude .

Unclean, uns*fe . I was physically threatened by a girl who brought a random man back to the dorm and staff could not care less and accused me of lying . Lots of riff-raff round the hostel. Unclean, not safe. Dont stay here .

Pros : slightly out of town so less street noise . Has a resort type feel . The Mexican staff are lovely . Free yoga . Great views from rooftop . Cons : the WiFi is none existent . The dorms are expensive maybe most expensive in sayulita. The design of the dorms is terrible- 1 bathroom for 10 people is not enough and the bunk beds are joined together so youre constantly disturbed by other people getting in and out of bed/ doing their business . Breakfast is a complete rip off .

One of the best hostels I've stayed in . Perfect blend between hostel and hotel vibe. The aesthetic and decor is just beautiful. Definitely stay here in marrakech - before / after airport or for a few days exploring the city .

Great place for an overnight stay in casablanca. In a safe area, comfy beds , all great.

Nice hostel with friendly people. Closer to ribiera dlhas surf break but quite far from ericeira town centre- you need a car to get anywhere unless you wanna hitch

This hostel ticks all the boxes. It's set in a beautiful building and gardens. Lovely solo traveller atmosphere . Breakfast is super good . Literally all the good things you can have in a hostel are right here . Go stay here!!

Very modern, quirky, friendly and clean place to stay in Naples. Stayed here for a couple of weeks and had a very comfortable stay. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Great base to travel to amalfi coast etc. The rooftop and bar provides a great social atmosphere and the hostel generally is a very relaxing place to stay .

Exactly as it says on the tin . Nothing fantastic nothing abysmal- basic comfortable stay . Very close to the main train station and decent restaurants around. The wine and chips event in the evening is cool

Overall- very nice stay . Amazing building with really cosy chillout areas and a homey vibe. Set in a really quirky part of Melbourne which feels like a cultural melting pot of all cool things. Well connected to the city too . Staff are very sweet and knowledgeable . the hostel didn't have social activities though and lacked a social vibe . Alot of people are living here which takes away from the typical fun hostel vibe but as a solo traveller wanting to just chill I was happy! here

More of a flashpackers hostel - very modern, very quirky / industrial vibe, very all the good things you can ask for in a hostel . Couldn't be happier with my stay

More focused on the restaraunt than the hostel side, so the place lacks that traveller vibe / doesn't really have an atmosphere. No kitchen . Met a good bunch of people though and the triple sized beds were a nice touch.

Wasn't expecting much but when I arrived i was pleasantly surprised. The dorms are very cosy and clean. A couple of the dorms are dotted around on platforms, giving you an amazing view of the mountains . Centrally located, walking distance from all the transport hubs. Very social hostel too, met a good mix of solo travellers. The staff are amazing, will stop at nothing to make you feel welcome/ comfortable. Deffo stay here :)

Does what it says on the tin. Some of the facilities are in need of TLC . The staff are really friendly tho and there's a cute little social area with a nice view . Good place to meet people too

Very fancy hostel. Quirky decor . In a really, pretty part of Colombo. Heaps of nice restaraunts around . Staff very friendly. Perfect for a one night stay to extend ya visa !

The staff are unfriendly, argumentative and quite hopeless. The dorms are very small . Air conditioning remotes are hidden away and one volunteer genuinely joked about it being a game of hide and seek with the remote. Overall, not impressed at all by this hostel, there are better places to stay in weligama .

big time party hostel. You feel like youre living in a bar . Great place to meet people and party if that's what youre looking for

Very great, good value for money, cheerful hostel! Highly recommend staying here - alot cheaper than most others without compromising quality. Both of the hostel owners were very kind to me too- I was sick at the time and they were so helpful with finding drs and were even making me fresh lemon drinks to make me healthy again ! Great roof terrace , solo travellers , good atmosphere, amazing value, loads of shop n restaraunts around with the centre only a 15 minute walk or a couple metro stops

Wow what a cute lil hostel this is ! Very modern and I loved the layout and look of the whole hostel . My dorm room actually felt like a bedroom- very very cosy. So close to the airport, easy to get to and fro. Highly recommend

Amazing hostel . Tim is a great host- very involved with everything that goes on . Met heaps of solo travellers of all age ranges from all over the world adding to the all round great time vibe of Budapest. Personal favourite thing about tiger tims is the setting of the hostel - the building is one of a kind, very quirky! Feels like you're in Havana or on the film set of Amelie. Deffo go stay here :))

This Hospital, i mean hostel, is one of the strangest hostels ever. It was pretty funny to see that they'd literally just put bunk beds in the hospital rooms ! The whole layout and look of the hostel is very clinical, which is good for those hyper clean hostel goer types. I didn't mind the hostel but i didn't love it either . Felt safe, clean , cheap, but no social atmosphere , not a classic backpacker hostel, far from city but convenient metro nearby will get you to the city in 20 mins.

One of the best hostels ive experienced. Amazing facilities, great staff , great setup all round. The hostel building is absolutely stunning and you feel surprised when you arrive at the value for money. All transport stops are directly outside the hostel so even the location isn't even bad when considering how quickly you can get into the centre. The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful too , particularly bashar (? Indian guy with glasses) and the girl with black hair and tatoos!

Pros- trendy modern hostel, clean and excellent facilities , staff are very helpful, good social area with bar. Cons- a little overpriced and not in the trendy/ cool part of Berlin, but can get transport anywhere anyway. I'd recommend finding a hostel around the kreuzberg area for more Berlin/artsy/ cool vibes

The hostel is safe and in a good location and with friendly people around. The only downside from the perspective of a backpacker is that 90% of the people there are living in the hostel ( mostly students) and this doesn't add to the travelling vibe at all . Feels more like living in halls/ dorms at college/ uni . Everyone is really nice though and a bonus is that you get a free breakfast and dinner every night.

Great staff, great location great hostel . Please please do not be tricked by the taxi driver like I was and pay $20 for the taxi to the hostel . The ride should have cost $6 or so but the taxi driver was a ruthless so and so and scared me into handing over the money. It was an awful situation made better by the staff on my arrival. I was happy to be in a safe environment after this awful experience. Stay here it's great value for money .

If you want a quiet tranquil jungle getaway then definitely stay here . It's perfect. If you want something more lively and party vibey then go stay at the other selena hostel in bocas del Toro. Staff were really nice with me , beautiful hostel just like all the other selena hostels and facilities are amazing. Highly recommend

The lady working here is very rude. Good value cheap enough hostel though and the included breakfast is great . Just the staff really don't care whether you get robbed or not and when we were there a friends camera got stolen and the staff tried to actually delete the cctv footage to cover up the theft.

This is my favourite hostel in central America. The staff were very welcoming and helpful , kitchen has amazing facilities, and the whole hostel is so beautiful! I moved from a party hostel nearby (Tropicana) and so happy I chose to come to three monkeys- it's got the perfect mix of chill out n drinking/ partying . The rooftop terrace is also very gorgeous. Highly recommend staying here :)

Great party hostel but I moved to the three monkeys hostel which is round the corner- three monkeys has a better balanced vibe , beautiful hostel, beautiful staff and it will make your time in Antigua unforgettable . Can always go to Tropicana for the party but most people there including staff will be very very high and on a different planet altogether - perfect of that's what you're looking for but three monkeys is a little more toned down.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at . Its definitely an interesting sort of place, kind of feels like a circus . It's very social, everyone cooks together and is super polite and gentle. Alot of argentinians volunteering here though so if you don't speak alot of Spanish could be tough to blend in . The lockers are outside and not very secure at all which is why I moved in the end but definitely stay here for a night or two and see how you like it , it's cool

Amazing hostel. Stayed for 3 weeks. Got that right balance between party hostel and chilling hard vibe. Great staff, pool, bar, great mix of people coming through the door. Not central though, have to walk or cab it to zicatela or is Punta . Very close to the most beautiful beach in Escondido tho
